Giving Up Is Not An Option!
Life is certainly a roller coaster!
There are days when we feel there is an impending doom, but just around the corner comes relief.
We look around and question why is there so much sadness and hardships? Our daily lives seem to whisk by, and before we know it, we ask ourselves where did the time go?
When we look in the mirror, we sometimes don’t recognize the older soul in us looking back. We may still feel younger, have the desire to do the things we used to but time has worn on our physical bodies.
So, how do we turn this around?
It begins with not giving up on yourself!
Between loss, care taking and life’s turbulences, we tend to put ourselves last. This catches up to us and before we know it, our health and physical wellness has paid the price!
Try making small changes. This can help with your mental, physical and emotional well being.
Whether it’s eating one healthy meal a day, drinking 8 glasses of water a day, reaching out to friends, reading a book, taking a nap, taking a walk, enjoying a cup of coffee; it’s all about focusing on meeting one need at a time and one step at a time.
I truly believe that journaling is a great tool to see where we’ve been and how far we’ve come. Be kind to yourself. You’ll be amazed as to how much stronger you will become when you focus on your physical health.
It’s important to release our feelings so when we go to sleep at night, we have already addressed them.
Don’t give up on yourself! You are worth it and those who love you will be there to encourage you along the way!
